Mentioned in Exodus 30:34, this oil has been helping people for thousands of years. Its medicinal properties are: antiseptic, analgesic, and light antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, circulatory stimulant, and anticonvulsant. Galbanum is used today for digestive problems(diarrhea), nervous tension, rheumatism, and skin conditions (scar tissue, wrinkles). Apply on location, vitaflex points on feet and ankles, directly inhale, or diffuse.
"Historically, galbanum was used as holy anointing oil, perfume, and in various medicines. Today, galbanum is used to treat acne, asthma, coughs, indigestion, muscle aches and pains, wrinkles, and wounds as well as to balance emotions." taken from The Maker's Diet, by Jordan S. Rubin
Galbanum oil, Iran has an odor that is described by experts as “intensely green.” Spicy and herbal, it has been compared to green peppers and tossed salad. It is balsamic and has subtle piney notes probably due to the presence of several pinenes. Accordingly, it blends well with pines and evergreens.
