Medicinally, Cedarwood oil is used to combat hair loss (alopecia areata), arteriosclerosis, ADHD, and skin problems such as acne and aczema.

Cedar Wood oil, Atlas, Morocco is a yellowish to orange-yellow viscous oil with a peculiar camphoraceous-cresylic sweet top note and woody low notes. An inexpensive oil, it is used extensively in perfumery because of cost and fixative properties. Furthermore it blends exceptionally well with woods and labdanum products.

Throughout antiquity, cedarwood has been used in medicines. The Egyptians used it to embalm the dead. It was used as both a traditional medicine and incense in Tibet. This plant is the species most closely associated to the biblical Cedars of Lebanon.

Medicinally, Cedarwood oil is used to combat hair loss (alopecia areata), arteriosclerosis, ADHD, and skin problems such as acne and aczema.

This oil is antibacterial and is a lymphatic stimulant.

Aromatically, it stimulated the limbic region of the brain (the center of emotions) and stimulates the pineal gland, which releases melatonin. In clinical tests, this oil was found to be able to successfully treat ADD and ADHD in children. It is recognized for its calming, purifying properties.
